Scott is a veteran of the Healthcare IT industry with over 20 years of experience. He spent 15 years at one of the largest health systems in the U.S. where he performed many roles over his tenure including software development, database administration, system engineering, application support, monitoring, automation and product management. He also spent 2 years as the Lead Technical Analyst at the state-funded Health Information Exchange where he obtained multiple certifications and valuable leadership experience.
Scott has a passion and penchant for operational efficiency, user experience and effective communication. After starting work at the soon-to-be burgeoning Roam Systems, these personal skills, combined with his professional expertise, allowed him to easily adapt to changing priorities and expanding responsibilities and quickly become the Studio Director of the Springfield office.
Scott is an avid video game enthusiast but not what you might call a “gamer”. He sees video games as a legitimate art form and boasts over 9,000 achievements on his Steam profile with a library nearing 2,000 games. This experience gives him insight into Roam System’s platform and its potential, specifically when it comes to human interaction. Scott also believes that in the realm of software and technology, there is nothing that can’t be done, only things that haven’t been done yet.
